Legalization of table games in Pennslyvania..

So Finally PA might have something to add to its attractions. Legalizing table games in Pennsylvania's casino's . This means that games like Toxas Hold'em Black jack, Roulette, an dozens of other table casino games will be allowed in Pennsylvania in the near future. I personally think that this is a good thing! It could drastically help our state in so many ways.

Now my opinion my be bias, because I want this law to be passed today by Governor Ed Randel. For one, because i love sitting at a poker table just playing some cards, texas hold'em, or black jack. Before I would of had to travel to Atlantic City if i was 21, or New York to Casinos that are legalized already. When and if this law allowing legalized table games in the state of Pennsylvania passes i will be their!

But this isn't just good threw the eyes of a gamblers, with an industry report that says each table game generates about 9.75 jobs, that means Hollywood Casino,(Harrisburg) could see at least 500 to 1,000 new jobs in the next year. On top of the hundreds of thousands even millions of dollars in taxes it will give our state in revenue. If Governor Randel's bill is passed and signed along with the budget, table games could be up and running in six months. The money that the state will inherit by legalizing table games in Pennsylvania is a win win.

I myself can not wait to sit at a poker table legally, in PA other then little home games for small stakes. Playing in a casino for high stakes is something else. I think it is a good thing for our state to help our budget, and unemployment issues. An that it will also bring money in from out of state, other then Pennsylvania's taking our money to other states. Anyone else have an opinion on this topic?

Jordan vs Russell?

After Michael Jordan's Hall of fame induction speech. There was all kinds of talk about Jordan an Bryon Russell. Now a game might actually be in the works between Bryon Russell and Michael Jordan. Russell responded to MJ's controversial Hall of Fame speech by saying he would play the greatest player of all time any time he wants. According to a Twitter profile that looks like it's legitimately Russell. I personally could care less, i mean Jordan is going to embarrass Russell. Russell couldn't handel jordan then no way he can now. But if i were Russell i would take advantage of this to. I mean the houndreds of thousands of dollars that will be made. kudos to you Russell! It's just a bad idea really. This is exactly why the NBA started doing the Rookie Game instead of the Legends Games in the 90's. Much like pornstars, once basketball players hit their late 30's there is an inevitably fast and unattractive decline in skills... Anyone else care to agree or disagree?
